Character Description:   Syrist is normally about 6 foot tall, his hair color varies from day to day,
but normally is blonde or blood red.  His eyes, once again vary too much
to state one specific color.  Normally his form is that of a well built 23
year old male human

Mental Description:  

Character History:   Syrist's tale begins with his mother, Roanoke.  She had long believed that she was created here on earth by humans, when the truth
was that she was actually just summoned here.  After Roanoke left the
island, she wandered throughout the world, being drawn by some odd
calling from one spot; a small, uninhabited island off the coast of Africa.  
She stumbled across a nexus point, a dimensional crossroad of you will.  
Drawn by an unexplained desire she moved into the crossroad and
disappeared.  She awoke in a place that defies conventional
explanation, a dimension where thought governed all.  She had
returned to her true home, the Shyft Dimension.  She spent hundreds
and thousands of years there (as time runs much swifter in that
dimension), rejoining with her own true people, only to feel something
that bothered her.  No matter how blissful she was in her homeland, part of her had changed too much, became too attached...  Too human.  
Sadly, the mages that had originally summoned her had also put a death
sentence on her head, meaning that her life had became finite and would soon end.  Using the knowledge she had gained from her life in the Shyft
Dimension, she created an offspring, a child to carry on her desire to
return to the earth dimension and find happiness, in other words, she
gave birth to Syrist.  Before she dissolved into nothingness, she
imparted into him part of her memory; names, faces, and one very
special location.  Haunted by the desire to go to this place that he never
knew, Syrist broke the code of his people and moved into the earth
dimension after many years he spent in his own dimension.  Driven by
the same sort of urge that returned Roanoke to the Shyft realm, Syrist
now comes to the island, to find his own way in life.

Abilities:
Shape Shifting:  Syrist can flawlessly change into anyone or anything,

live or inanimate.
Vocal Shift:  By manipulating his vocal chords, Syrist can copy the vocal

patterns of anyone he meets.
Levitation:  Syrist can levitate his body above the ground
