Character Description:  Naiya is 5’7” with light brown hair and unusual blue eyes.

Mental Description:  Naiya is a thoroughly modern woman in her thinking even though she was raised by traditional parents. She is strong willed and stubborn  She is tenacious  and dedicated when she wants to accomplish something.

Character History:  Naiya was born in Russia and immigrated to the United States with her parents when she was 3 years old. When Naiya was just a baby and toddler she can remember being able to move things simply by wishing it so. Later on, her abilities grew to where she could change things at a cellular level into something completely different. Her parents were very conservative and kept the family origins a secret from their daughter, and demanded that she keep the things she could do a secret from anyone outside their small family. Feeling like she never fit in set Naiya on a path that was on the wild side, she experimented with all sorts of dangerous behavior always pushing the envelope. Finally at 20 she buckled down enough to get through college. Following her college graduation Naiya traveled back to Russia to meet her Grandparents and other extended family. It was then that she learned that she was descended from a lengthy line of Russian mages that went back hundreds of years. Upon her return home she confronted her parents with what she had learned. Both refused to even discuss it .All they wanted was for her to get married and forget anything she had learned while in Russia. After that her feeling of always being slightly out of sync with the “human” world intensified to where she quit her job and sold everything off going in search of this mystical island her Great Uncle had told her about. Everyone said he was crazy but Naiya had a strong feeling Uncle Dimitri had been telling the truth. She traveled by sea in the hopes of finding someone on the island that could help her to understand her “abilities”.
