Character Description:  Because of the early changes in her young life Kayerith adapts to new environments quickly and is a fast study of anything new. When Kayerith first arrived on the island she appeared as any normal human child of approximately 3-4 years of age. She has light blue eyes and medium brown wavy hair which has darkened to very dark brown nearly black as she aged.

Mental Description: Because of the early changes in her young life Kayerith adapts to new environments quickly and is a fast study of anything new. She is extremely bright and displayed early signs of her Mother's gifts. Sadly she learned to hide and shut herself off from those gifts because everyone around her told her it was wrong.
 

Character History: Kayerith seemed to remember much of the years before she appeared mysteriously on the island. She knew her parents names and that they had lived in the A’gir See’ten Temple in a mountainous region of Western Europe. She knew that her parents had been murdered by one named Jetakazul and that she had been the only one left alive. She was not sure how old she was.

 Kayerith was "adopted" by Shados Draconioas and his then fiancée' Lili Treader. They believed her to be dragon because of the small then useless wings that hung at her back. She did not seem to age very quickly mentally nor physically but her parents were not overly concerned. When Kayerith was eight years old she unexpectedly changed forms. It was then that her parents learned she was a young Dragonborn exactly like her Father  not a dragon as they first thought.

Shortly after her ninth birthday two men arrived with news for her adopted Father. News that no one could have seen coming.

The following is an excerpt from the diary that chronicled Kayerith's early years:

Day Two hundred and eighty two:

          The C-Section was without complications and the surrogate is healing rapidly .The ultrasound and amniocenteses were correct it is a female child. I am still unable to explain how that is possible nor are the others working with me. The infant is now referred to simply as D31. After deliberation it was decided to leave the infant with the surrogate as my research indicates that the milk produced by the female is beneficial to the infant and will provide me with a strong solider for my army. At two years of age the child will be removed.

Below is an excerpt from a letter written by  Xalvador DeLaPena to Shados Draconioas following a private meeting inside the mountains that housed The Brotherhood:

Elisanth Ramalóce was only twenty-one years old when she was abducted from A’gir See’ten Temple. She was an innocent. A young woman raised by the Priestesses in the temple because her parents feared the early show of seer’s gifts their daughter exhibited. Elisanth was hidden away from the world, protected and taught to use her gifts of prophecy for good. How Jetakazul learned of her existence we will never know. How she managed to escape with the child is also unknown, what matters is that she did escape saving her daughter from a lifetime of violence and killing. Elisanth died when her child was three and a half years old. By that time she was here in these mountains with us. One of our sentinels found her living in a rat-infested shantytown in Africa. You have to understand Shados Elisanth was completely ignorant of the world outside the Temple walls, the sheer fact that she survived as long as she did while eluding Jetakazul and keeping her child fed and clothed is in itself a testament to her love for her daughter. Elisanth died as a result of severe malnutrition and the toxic drugs she was exposed to during the pregnancy. It was her last wish that Kayerith be placed with a family so she would know love and security.

Following her Mother’s death we bound Kayerith’s magic and ability to shift her form. So she might have the best chance of growing up without Jetakazul finding her we also wove an ancient magic that would stall her growth and cloud her memories in the hope that if Jetakazul encountered her he would believe her to be too young to be who he was looking for.

Alejandro and I, we brought her to the island. We knew from the notes in the journal you were for all purposes and intents her biological Father. The council was counting heavily on the bond that blood can create when she was brought to you. 

It was also Elisanth’s express desire that Kayerith be given the skills to protect herself, as Elisanth had been unable to do from the Jetakazul’s of the world. As she lay dying I swore to her that I would make certain that none would harm her child as she had been, that her daughter would be trained and given the skills to protect herself. You are free to judge me for keeping that promise but I do not give my word lightly.

It may also interest you to know that the kin you said visited you at your Castle, the one who brought you documents giving you custody of Kayerith?   He was one of the many that were sent out to search for your daughter Shados. He had come to gain your confidence to see if your daughter was the one they sought. Thankfully he was unable to learn enough to feel confident in taking your daughter to Jetakazul.We intercepted him and he is no longer a worry.
